Joining the Band

Auditions

Auditions are held once a year just after the beginning of the October term. If you want to audition you will need to sign up at the Fresher's Fayre or contact us via the contact page.

For your audition you will need to play a piece that you have prepared unaccompanied and also a piece of sight reading chosen by the musical director. It is very informal and relaxed and helps us get to know what you can do and what you are like as a person.

Who can audition

Anyone can audition to join the band - musicians and vocalists welcome.

Rehearsals

We rehears every Monday 6.30 - 8.3opm. You will need to be available to attend most weeks, especially the weeks leading up to gigs and concerts.
